  5. Your tech support department saved us from purchasing the DuelAdapter by posting a list of laptops that don't work. Thank you.

We have no reason to believe it wouldn't work, but are awaiting word from Duel Systems to see if they have tested that specific configuration.

  8. Feedback from Duel Systems:
Accually it works great with boot camp. I have used it myself on a Macbook Pro with boot camp. I was running it on a Vista and Mac 10.4.10. If you are having trouble please respond with witch system is not finding it Windows or OSX. Also a little more detail on what the issue is.

So far as we know the VAIO you mentioned should work, and isn't listed on Duel Systems' unsupported computer list list. You might want to contact Duel Systems directly if you want more assurance, but there are no absolute guarantees in this industry. That said, you could take advantage of our 15 day money back policy.

As far as we know this combination should work. Best thing to do is:

1: check the SYSTEMS KNOWN NOT TO WORK list
2: check out the DuelAdapter Product Compatibility List
    3: Call Duel Systems: 1-888-227-7004 or 1-661-367-2215

  15. I have a Q1 Ultra(np-Q1) I have a PX-500 mobile broadband card could I use this adapter? If not what can I use to get my px-500 card to work with My Q1 Ultra?

  16. From what we understand the Samsung Q1 features a CompactFlash slot rather than an ExpressCard slot. Therefore it would not work with the DuelAdapter. If you have a way of installing drivers for your PX-500 and other devices, then you might want to check out Elan's U142.

  17. I have a HP tx2510us and a Pantech PCMCIA card and I am using Debian Linux. The Pantech card works fine with Debian, but how about this adapter and the HP machine?

Alternatively, do you have an adapter to get an express card to fit a PCMCIA slot so I can go "back the other way" if I get a new card? I have a router that uses the PCMCIA card and I want to continue to be able to use that as well as use some of my older machines with that work with the Pantech card.

  18. The DuelAdapter hasn't been tested with Linux. PC Card adapters do exist for USB based ExpressCards (both PC Card and ExpressCard are 'PCMCIA,' therefore it is better to refer to the hardware by their correct names). However, your router might not support an ExpressCard in a PC Card adapter. If your router takes USB devices, your best course would be purchasing a USB based WWAN device to share between your router and laptop.
